It's been over a year since I first joined the online gaming world. I
started playing in June of '98 when I got a computer fast enough
to handle anything. I'd played Battlezone over at a friend's house
and loved it. I picked it up a few days after purchasing my computer.
Then I played and played and played.... You get the picture.
For more than 5 months I played Battlezone. I got to know the people a little, not
too well though. I knew of all the "famous" players in the Battlezone world
and even talked with them once in a while. Then came December.
Battlezone was getting old for alot of players. There was talk of leaving
and going on to other games, Tribes came to most people's minds.
I can't quite remember exactly what it said but Luck, leader of the 911
group, asked if anyone would like to join a newly forming group of BZ'ers to play
games together. I thought, WOW! It would be awesome to be mentioned along
with such names as Dead Kenny, Fuzzy Pink Armadillo, and, now why did I want
to be mentioned with these people? Anyway I responded and joined up.
After months and months of playing with these dead beats I now know I was too
young and foolish to know what I was doing. These people are famous? Heh heh.
Anyway, that's about it for my gaming life.
Besides that I'm and Christian,I live in the South East with my family. I'm interested
in RTS, and Action games mostly, some Adventure games. I plan on programming for
a living and enjoy web site creation and outdoor sports.
